A domain name is basically just the URL of your website.  For example the domain name of Girly Website Hosting is http://girlywebsitehosting.com  .

It is a good idea to have the name of your website within the domain name of your website.  Even if that means just a shorter version.  For example the title "Fun Plant and Flower Designs" can be shortened to www.plantandflowerdesigns.com .
